Position Overview: The Project Manager at Res-Intel will oversee and coordinate various projects related to energy and property data analytics, with a focus on multi-family (MF) and commercial properties. This role involves managing a team to ensure timely completion of tasks, integration of updated data, and delivery of comprehensive reports to clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from data acquisition to analysis and reporting, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for each task outlined by the client.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external data providers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
2. Data Acquisition and Analysis:
• Oversee the acquisition and integration of various datasets, including property data, meter metadata, energy consumption data, and demographic information, to support energy analytics and building electrification initiatives.
• Supervise data analysis activities, such as building inventory validation, energy disaggregation, existing equipment predictions, and barrier mapping, ensuring accuracy and relevance of results.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and refine algorithms, models, and methodologies for energy analytics and measure identification.
3. Deliverable Preparation:
• Preparation of deliverables, including detailed memos, reports, and data visualizations, summarizing key findings, methodologies, and analysis results.
• Review and approve all deliverables to ensure alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and quality standards.
• Facilitate discussions with the client and project team to present findings, solicit feedback, and address any concerns or questions related to project deliverables.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, discuss project progress, and resolve issues or conflicts as needed.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partner organizations to promote collaboration and ensure client satisfaction.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead a diverse team of analysts, data scientists, researchers, and support staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience (2+ years) in project management, preferably in the energy sector, with a track record of successfully managing complex, data-driven projects.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools, including GIS software, data visualization platforms, and statistical software packages.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, build consensus, and drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency programs and affordable housing initiatives is a plus.
