Arcan Isenkul – He was born in 2005 in Ankara. He started his music education in Bilkent University Music Preparatory Primary School's viola department in 2014 with a scholarship, in Ece Akyol's class. He received the second prize in the Junior category at the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition in December 2017 and was invited to the award ceremony concert held in Rome, the capital of Italy. He participated in the 9th International Young Musicians Music Competition held in Legnago, Verona, Italy in April 2018 with the 2018 Ahmed Adnan Saygun Success Scholarship and won the "Antonio Salieri" first prize in category C. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, he won the Luzerne Music Center exams in the USA with a full scholarship and participated in the summer camp and studied viola with Laura Manko. During this time, he took orchestra and chamber music lessons and took part in concerts organized within the scope of the festival. In 2018, he won the first prize in the Concerto Competition held within the scope of the same festival, and was entitled to give a concert as a soloist accompanied by an orchestra. He gave concerts as a soloist with the Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra in January 2019 and the Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra in April 2019. In addition to the first prize in the field of string instruments at the "29th Young Musician International Competition 'Città di Barletta' Music Competition" held in Italy in May 2019, he was also awarded the Artistic Director Francesco Monopoli Special Award and took part in the gala concert. He won the third prize in the 15-25 age category at the Violin Viola- Cello Competition organized by the Online Classical Music Academy in January 2021. In addition to winning the first place in the viola group in the Strings D category of the King's Peak International Music Competition held online in April 2021, he also won the first place in the Chamber Music D category of the same competition with his chamber music group. He won the second prize in the chamber music category at the Medici International Music Competition, headquartered in London, held online in July 2021. Isenkul, who started his composition studies with Can Bekir Bilir, participated in MATA Jr., which was held online in New York in August 2021. He was chosen as one of the six composers to take part in the 2021 (Music at the Anthology) festival. He was asked to write a new piece and his piece “Heves” was performed by Bergamot Quartet on October 17 in Brooklyn/NY. He won the audition of the "Bilkent Music Days", organized by Bilkent University for the sixth time in 2022, and gave a concert under the name of "Young Masters" as Capacità Quintet on March 30 as part of chamber music. In 2022, he was selected for ENKA Sanat's promising young artists project in the field of classical music and performed at the "ENKA Stage Gala Concert" on April 17 at the ENKA Auditorium. In 2018 Efdal Altun's in Classical Keyifler, in 2019 Sheila Brown and Lise Berthaud's at Bilkent University, C.J. Chang in Luzerne Music Center, in January 2020 Marion Leleu in Germany, in September 2020 Tatjana Masurenko in İznik International Viola Camp “Online” and in April 2021 he attended the master classes of Burcu Yazıcı at the 1st National Viola Days. He also took part in the concerts of the Başkent Chamber Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra, Agora Symphony Orchestra, Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra and as the bandleader in the Bilkent Children's Symphony Orchestra. He won the 2021 elections of the Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and attended the summer camp and gave concerts in Turkey. As an 12th grade student at Bilkent University Music Preparatory High School, İsenkul continues his viola studies with Cavid Cafer and composition studies with Yiğit Aydın.
