Hi, my name is Jon Flatt. Freelancing is my full-time job, and I speak English as a first language. I work with clients around the world and will accommodate any time zone. I am a Google systems expert and a full-stack developer (JS, HTML, and CSS). I specialize in creating full-scope Google systems to help manage small and start-up businesses. I am a wizard with Google Sheets and develop Google Add-On / Google Apps Script, creating attractive and highly functional Google Web Apps. My Web App capabilities range from custom forms to full-service reports, dashboards, and more. Additionally, I can integrate Google systems with 3rd party systems to create cohesion. I have ten years of experience in small business Admin positions, which gives me a unique and powerful skill stack. I understand the inner workings of businesses, including start-ups, and I create systems that cater to these needs. A client once referred to me as a visionary because of my ability to listen to his needs and build a system that works efficiently and effectively for his project. I can hear the problems and challenges a client has and see the necessary solutions to harness the power of data and simplify processes. Automating systems for business fascinates me. I love to develop systems that process regularly occurring data and display it in eye-catching reports and dashboards. Seeing how these automated systems can increase productivity and simplify my clients’ workload is incredibly rewarding. They have more time to focus on expanding their business because they no longer need to spend time inputting data, running reports, and analyzing data themselves. It is what drove me to this line of work and why I wake up excited to work on my projects. During my time in business admin positions, I spent four years in a “fixer” role. My task was to find dysfunctional areas, streamline the job, and pass the new system to a colleague. I learned to create manageable systems and how to instruct someone to work with the newly built system. Often, clients want to know how the handoff stage goes. When the system is complete, I create a video and a written tutorial to provide training. I make sure that my client is confident about using their new system. During the building phase, I regularly check in with the client to see that the system is developing to their specifications, which usually helps the handoff stage go smoothly. I am readily available for a video call or written messages if a client ever needs me. My ultimate focus is the client. Your needs and vision will dictate how your system is created. I strive to deliver top-notch results. If a system does not click for a client, I consider it a failure and will work to correct the issues. Cheers, Jon
