We created our own credit card processing Gateway to allow us to connect to multiple different processors. We started with eCommerce-style transactions but moved into Retail with Card Swipe and then added EMV with the Ingenico iPP3xx terminals and have re-certified with the Ingenico Tetra Platform on the TSYS and First Data (now FiServ) networks. Our Gateway system has been designed with redundancy in mind and support for over 10,000 transactions an hour in real-time. We have supported diverse web applications from an Online Billing solution for DHL (US) to a Virtual Terminal for credit card acceptance and integration into other software products (most developed with Microsoft .NET technology). Our team also helped manage a local company's virtual terminal software with an international team with the goal to stabilize a complex hardware environment (co-hosted) and worked to simplify and keep data safe throughout the environment.
