I work for a venture capital firm. We are a start-up We mostly focus on: - distribution of medical devices for cancer treatment in Latin-america - Real estate development in China. I am one of the founding members and I am looking to use odesk as an extension of myself in the form of a personal assistant, excel and powerpoint editor, online researcher, marketing analyst, developer, translator, accountant... The scope of the tasks can be both company related (i.e. answering customer requests,translating medical documents) or personal (i.e. logging in my frequent flyer miles). The level of the task can go from basic administration (answering emails) to quite analytical (developing a marketing plan). It will all depend on the skills and interests of the contractor. I intend to start with individual small and easy tasks so as to try out the cooperation. If it goes well, more regular work is intended and can lead to full-time employment. Technical Skills Valued: - Fluency in Spanish and English both oral and written communication - Highly Proficient will online research, gmail and office package - Knowledge of Medical terminology - French, German, Portuguese language skills would also be a plus - University education, MBA - We have an office in Chongqing, China; thus location in China and Knowledge of mandarin also valued Personality Skills Valued: - Fast Learner, Intelligent - Attention to detail - Resourcefulness, Creative problem solving - Reliable, Trustworthy.
