I've founded several technology companies, the most recent I sold to a Fortune 200 company. During the journey I learned firsthand, the difficulty in hiring good, reliable developers who understood what work needed to be done and communicate effectively when there were problems or when work was completed. I have now started to work on projects myself, allowing me to spend the time and care I expect is necessary to do the work right and completely. For website development I am focused on Wordpress right now. Everybody has their opinion about what is best, I have found this platform to be sufficient for everything I am doing. For scripting I use Python. It provides a clean way to automate tasks with minimal overhead and runs efficiently. I am experienced in DB design and maintenance and use stored procedures for moving data around. I work in MySQL every day and have worked with MSSQL for 15+ years.
