I am a cinematographer working on short movies and promos. I like to get the best from lighting and cameras. Since 10 years old, I've been in the tiny photography studio of my dad where I learned the black and white laboratory techniques and a lot of film photography skills. After technology high school studies then information technology college studies, I went to the school of cinema where I achieved finally what I was looking for and searching for years : learning cinematography in depth. I worked as director of photography, as a cameraman, a lighting crew member, an editor, a photographer and a cinematography teacher. I was most of the time the director of photography in some short movies or during two years and a half managing huge TV studios, documentary shootings and promos. So during all these years, as techniques migrate to digital, I was able thanks to my ease with technology to excel in some post production tasks. I know how to make the best images during shooting with lighting and composition, then how to edit with ADOBE PREMIERE PRO or FINAL CUT 7 and above, how to add some graphics or text in motion to embellish the product with ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS, how to use color grading in order to shape in an evocative and spectacular way the movie or the product and especially how to tell a good story using all these tools. I think I'm lucky to be part of the generation that witnesses the evolution of the cinematography and post production tools / techniques. I'm a 37 years old enthusiastic man and I introduce my self as a cinematographer video editor and color grading expert which is my favorite discipline at the moment. I'm proficient in DA VINCI RESOLVE, Lumetri in Adobe Premiere Pro or ADOBE SPEEDGRADE and color tools in Avid Media Composer which are theoretically the same with some advantages in DaVinci. I'm also a violin player since my 12 years then,recently I started to learn electric guitar which is fun. I prefer freelancing in music projects because I have a good sense of rhythm and melody. So multicam concerts and music videos are my field of expertise as well as editing audio in ADOBE AUDITION for audio corrections and enhancements. I'm also good at other thematics but you know music is spirit food. I began freelancing in 2016 because I wasn't aware that a website like Up-work exists and I found that this is a great idea to contribute to a variety of projects from all over the world. I like also that when paid I purchase equipment or software online. I also like to make friends and and share the good experiences.
