Corporate Membership Development Specialist

The Corporate Membership Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing corporate memberships for 26 year old US Based Chamber. . This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate the value of chamber membership to corporations, particularly in the context of community engagement & DEI

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Research and identify potential corporate members that align with the Black Chamber’s mission and values.
• Cold Calling & Outreach: Initiate and conduct outreach efforts, including cold calling and emailing, to potential corporate members.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within targeted corporations.
• Membership Sales: Present and sell the benefits of Black Chamber membership to corporate prospects, tailoring pitches to address their specific needs and goals.
• Follow-Up & Closing: Follow up on leads, provide necessary information, answer questions, and close sales to meet or exceed membership targets.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling membership proposals that outline the value proposition of chamber membership.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all communications and membership activities within the Chamber’s CRM system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and events teams to align membership outreach efforts with Chamber initiatives.
• Reporting: Regularly report on outreach efforts, pipeline development, and membership sales to the Chamber’s leadership team.
