Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled research and writing consultant to assist with the development of a feasibility study and a concept note. The project involves gathering data, conducting research, and drafting documents that will be used to guide strategic decisions for a philanthropic initiative.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Research: Perform thorough research on various topics, including funding pools and community infrastructure.
Draft Feasibility Study: Compile research findings into a well-structured feasibility study. This document should be clear, concise, and based on accurate data.
Draft Concept Note/Case Statement: Assist in drafting a concept note that outlines the project’s goals, objectives, and potential impact. The document should be no more than 5 pages in length.
Collaborate with Lead Consultant: Work closely with the lead consultant to incorporate feedback, make revisions, and ensure that the documents meet the required standards.
Prepare Presentation Materials: Develop slides and presentation materials summarizing research findings for client meetings.
Qualifications:
Strong technical writing and research skills.
Proven experience in drafting feasibility studies, concept notes, or similar documents.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Project Timeline:
Immediate start with an expected project duration of 6-8 weeks.
Key milestones will be discussed during the interview process.
