Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant with a background in manufacturing to join our finance team in Philippine. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting processes within a manufacturing environment, along with proficiency in utilizing large ERP systems for financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for four legal entities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.
• Take responsibility for end-of-month (EOM) procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial activities to support month-end reporting requirements.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate recording and elimination of intercompany transactions and balances across all legal entities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and other financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all legal entities.
• Balance sheet Reconciliation of the 2 legal entities.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training to support their professional development.
• Utilize advanced features of ERP systems to streamline accounting processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance data accuracy.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, contributing financial expertise to support strategic business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.
• Experience working with large ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience in conducting intercompany reconciliations and resolving intercompany issues.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and developing staff members.
