Key Responsibilities:

-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for dietary supplement powders, ingredients, and equipment, primarily in Latin America and other countries.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
-Conduct thorough market research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
-Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and regulations.
-Learn and utilize import records to identify and connect with companies importing similar ingredients into the USA.
-Evaluate and follow up on contacts obtained from exhibitions to expand the supplier base.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and sourcing agents in different countries to streamline the sourcing process.
-Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in sourcing and supplier management, preferably in the dietary supplements or food industry.
-Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Knowledge of import/export regulations and international trade.
-Proficiency in using import records and other sourcing tools.
-Experience working with Amazon is a plus.
-Knowledge of the US market and its specific requirements and regulations.
