Industrial Designer | Ideation to Prototype| Product Design Consultant

I am an Industrial Designer with a passion for bringing innovative products to life! I have over ten years of experience practising product design, and I have a trained education background in Industrial design and Mechanical engineering. I support clients with a complete spectrum of product development, from ideation and research to volume production. I support clients by providing strategic consultation on pathways bringing new products to life, from ideas to the market, considering various critical stages such as product category, market, targetted users, competitive landscape, material and manufacturing, unique positioning, hardware design optimization, etc., to large-scale clients and enterprises. Over a period of time, I have built a team of passionate individuals with expertise in design and engineering to provide end-to-end product development solutions. My work centres around designing medical devices, IoT and smart electronics, sports and healthcare products, medical equipment, consumer appliances, enclosures for IoT and smart devices, and consumer electronics. My project work ranges from Ideation and Concept Design to Detailed Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for tooling for mass production. I have also partnered with vendors in India, China and other countries to Prototype and Manufacture the products we designed for my clients. I believe design is not only about making beautiful things, but it's also about the elegance of the solution. Therefore, prototyping is a core part of my design process. I own several 3d printers and a small prototyping station at our design studio. Prototyping and tinkering have always been an integral part of our process as a way to create, and I found it very productive to iterate the design efficiently. Specification building, Strategic Product Design, Product research, Patent drawings, 3D CAD Design, Prototyping, Electronics development, and Design for Manufacturing are the core design and engineering strengths, which help to consider the critical aspects of functionality, ease of manufacturing, assembling, cost reduction, and durability well in the design stage.
