I suspect that by now, you would have seen a number of freelancers profiles rolling out their years of experience, achievements, and all that! Well, not that it's a bad way to sell yourself. After all, I myself have over 11 years of experience as a professional Photographer, Videographer, and Photo Editor. But I don't think that is most important! The most important thing is if one can prove all these years of experience either with some quantifiable examples from your portfolio or some feedback from former clients or even on the job.

The truth, when we come right down to it is; you don't want to be here on Upwork searching for freelancers, but you need them. And not them really, but their skills; and not their skills really, but what their skills can help you achieve. Maybe how their skills help you sell that product or bring you some deeper satisfaction than sales. Whatever it is, the MAIN GOAL is all that matters in the end.
