Configure Google Ads and Facebook ads on a google playstore app correctly using deep links

We have launched an android mobile application and configured ad campaigns using google ads and facebook ads but we are struggling trying to measure which one has better results (facebook or android). Usually on websites we take advantage of querystring parameters in order to measure campaign effectiveness. For example:

And we build our in-house reports that measure how effective each campaign is (how many visits, how many registered users, how many people pay for a service) and that's how we know which ad provider is better for our needs. We know that facebook as google have their dashboards were you can see the stats but in our experience is not very precise so we like to take our own analysis.

The problem is thar on android applications we can not take parameters from que querystring, so far as we know, we have access to the "referer" para meter only. So we are not able to separate the users that came from facebook ads from the ones that came from google ads. One workaround that came to our mind is to use deep links that will send a different parameter/path after installation in order to identify from within the application which users are from facebook or google.

We require and expert on mobile apps advertising to guide us configuring correctly the deep links (or other workaround) in order to help us measure the effectiveness of campaigns.

The expected result is being able identify in our end how many users were registered from each ad provider.
