Trampetti is seeking a construction business coach who will lead small business owners and his/her team through operations activities to improve their organization. This role will report directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for working directly with clients through a structured set of objectives to improve scope, schedule, cost, and overall business operations. There is nothing we do not help within their business.

Armed with training in our proven methodology and the knowledge gained as previous business leaders, the primary responsibility of the construction growth coach is to work side by side, “in the trenches” coaching owners, project managers, and other employees in how to run an effective project and company that drive sustainable performance and financial improvements.
In this role, you will:
• Coach and lead business owners and their teams to build better teams, streamline operations, build and document processes, identify and implement systems, and execution of the Operations Framework.
• Implement standard routines and planning activities related to projects and overall operations.
• Be hands-on. You’ll understand the client’s current situation and start to help build the operational structure required to improve the organization.
Professional Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of construction project management/ownership
• Experience working with construction owners
• Track record of building teams from the ground up (20 or more people) and/or led successful recovery efforts
• Understand the fundamentals of how to build, manage, and execute a construction schedule
• Train and lead teams to run effective financial and schedule meetings
• Train and lead teams to build quality management programs from the ground up
• Build, assess and/or diagnose a company’s P&L
• Ability to drive teams to improve their current program while implementing processes along the way for long-term success
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, build consensus and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration among cross functional teams
• Strong observation, analytical, numerical reasoning, business acumen, and leadership skills
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to build relationships and interface with clients at all levels of the organization
• Perform assessments utilizing analytical skills to understand client environments and associated financial opportunities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Develop and deploy internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards
• Leverage the flexibility of Lean, Six Sigma, and Performance Improvement tools to enhance productivity
• Deliver training, coach, and mentor all members of the team including owners
• Proficiency with Visio or another applicable process documentation software
• Ability to juggle many responsibilities at one time to effectively partner with clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop a high level of personal and professional credibility with all levels of the organization and external client
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high pressure, and changing environments
• Exceptional communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
• Ability to succeed in a team environment and deliver/receive daily constructive feedback
• Advanced proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint
Travel required
• Majority of work will be remote
• Travel to client site locations to conduct workshops, Kaizen events, assessments, etc.
