Digital Marketing Strategist to Drive Enrollments for Dutch Language Courses
Hi there! I’m looking for an experienced digital marketing strategist for a one-time, structured brainstorming session.
I'm offering Dutch language courses that begin on the 19th and 21st of November. So quite soon already, but the goal itself is modest, I'd say:
I want to attract a total of 20-24 students (2 courses of max. 12 students) before the start of the courses on the 19th and 21st of November!
Ideally we can work out a cost-effective, simple strategy I can manage on my own. If this initial session goes well, I’d be open to discuss future sessions for potential marketing campaigns.
Target Audience:
• Primary Audience: Expats and internationals currently living in the Netherlands, especially in Amsterdam, who may feel disconnected due to language barriers.
• Secondary Audience: Individuals planning to move to the Netherlands who want to start learning Dutch.
Pain Points & Motivations:
• Many internationals feel they’re “drowning” in the Dutch language and aren’t fully integrated into the local culture, affecting their sense of belonging.
• Learning Dutch can help them feel more at home and connected in their new environment.
• Speaking Dutch also offers a professional advantage for those who want to broaden their job opportunities in the Dutch market, making the language a key asset for career growth.
Available Assets:
• Website with testimonials and a promo video.
• Facebook and Instagram profiles (basic but usable).
• Testimonials (i.e. reviews) from past students that could be incorporated into campaign materials. These testimonials are already being displayed on the website.
What I’m Looking For:
I need a structured brainstorming session to develop a clear, manageable, budget-friendly marketing plan. This role would involve:
1. Helping me focus on effective strategies and channels that are realistic within my limited time and budget.
2. Preparing for the session by reviewing the assets I send in advance (e.g., website link, promo video, testimonials and social media profiles) and providing any key questions or details needed beforehand.
3. Outlining a step-by-step action plan that I can implement right away.
If this initial session proves successful, I would consider scheduling future sessions as needed to refine or expand the strategy.
Budget & Timeline:
• Marketing Budget: €200 max (including ad spend).
• Talent Budget: Limited, so I’m looking primarily for guidance and strategy.
• Timeline: The courses start on November 19th and 21st, so the campaign needs to begin soon.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience with low-cost, high-impact marketing campaigns.
• Ability to simplify and structure strategies that are easy for clients like me to execute.
