We are an innovative Insurtech company focused on serving the trucking industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer to join our team. This initial engagement is for developing a specific section of our website, serving as a trial to evaluate your abilities and expertise. Successful collaboration will lead to a long-term job offer.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a specific section of the website from scratch using the provided UI/UX designs.
- Collaborate effectively with our UI/UX design team to implement design elements.
- Integrate third-party API calls, specifically Google Maps and the Company Snapshot from FMCSA Safer (https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx) .
- Implement high-quality animations as provided by the UI/UX design team.
- Develop and integrate high-quality parsing features.
- Ensure the website meets high data security standards and privacy policy regulations.
- Potential AI integration capabilities (preferred but not required).


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in full stack development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Experience with API integration and handling third-party services.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to implement complex animations and interactive elements.
- Experience in web development with a focus on high data security standards and privacy policy compliance, crucial for the insurance industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Experience in the Insurtech or trucking industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI integration is an added advantage.


Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools.
