Hello Romance author! We are looking for a complete novella (Regency Historical Romance) of ~25,000-30,000 words. The successful candidate MUST have experience reading or writing Regency romance, in order to understand the nuances and tropes, and must provide examples of his/her historical romance writing (either published or unpublished).

SCHEDULE/BUDGET:
The budget refers to a finished product of 30,000 at a rate of $.03/word. If your writing is crisp and your story engaging, we would be delighted to extend this contract for future books. Delivery should be within a month (since it is a novella), but we can discuss your schedule.

We can provide a complete chapter outline, or merely a plot outline (which would allow you more creative freedom).  We're looking for a story with witty dialogue, lots of physical attraction/s3xual tension, and an engaging external plot. Actual sex scene should be off-page, behind closed doors, so you don't have to write those.

REQUIREMENTS:
Everything you turn into us must original; No plagiarism. The final product you turn in must be proofread. You must also understand you'll retain no rights to this story (even excerpts) once it's sold to us.
