Logistics Support Staff (5147 / University Courses:General)

CodePath is an early-stage nonprofit dedicated to offering an accelerated pathway into the technology industry for college students all across the US, with an emphasis on serving underserved, low-income, and first-generation students. We offer a variety of courses and services to students both directly on-campuses at colleges and remotely using video classrooms with instructors and teaching assistants. All of these courses and services are offered to students entirely for free, funded directly by the technology industry in order to invest in the next generation of talented software engineers.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Support Staff (5147 / University Courses:General) to assist with staff and volunteer admissions, onboarding, and tracking. These include but are not limited to our tech fellows (TFs), instructors, professors, and coaches. Your tasks will include the following:
- Process staff and volunteer applications
- Onboard admitted staff and volunteers
- Handle logistical coordination between instructors, volunteers, and staff
- Flag any inconsistencies and surface potential problem areas
- Respond to email queries from staff and volunteers via support mailbox (Zendesk)
- Ensure that the course run is working smoothly for volunteers at each stage, coordinating to make sure they aren’t stuck
- Maintain and monitor spreadsheet trackers
- Document process
- Manage calendar

We use tools like Google Calendar, Google Spreadsheet, Github, Slack, Zoom, and Zendesk.

Able to be on top of tasks with different timelines with minimal supervision
Proactive and learn technology tools quickly
Intermediate Google Sheets skills

[During admissions cycle] at least 1.5 hours daily between 2pm-5pm Pacific Time (weekend schedule depends on admissions cycle)
- To process applications
- To check and respond to Coach, Professor, and Tech Fellow applicant inquiries via Zendesk as they arise and communicate with the Operations team for issues
- To process and record staff and volunteer application status and send admissions afternoon pass reports to the team
At least 1 hour daily overlap with the team manager between 6 am-10 am Pacific Time
- To track and record staff and volunteer KPIs in the tracker, upload recordings, and build weekly reports to the internal team
Expected workload: 15-20 hours/week initially

There will be a paid assessment task that needs to be submitted 24 hours AFTER a contract is started.
