REMOTE Property Manager position

Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee our property portfolio in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing properties using TenantCloud, ensuring efficient maintenance request handling, timely rent collection, and liaising with government agencies like Section 8 to facilitate rent submissions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to property management.

Responsibilities:

Tenant Management:

Utilize TenantCloud platform to manage tenant interactions, lease agreements, and communications effectively.
Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns regarding property maintenance and rental payments.
Maintenance Coordination:

Oversee and coordinate property maintenance requests, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction for tenants.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors to schedule and supervise property repairs and upkeep.
Rent Collection:

Monitor rent payments, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain accurate records of rental income.
Coordinate and facilitate the rent collection process, ensuring adherence to payment schedules.
Government Agency Collaboration:

Work closely with government agencies such as Section 8 to facilitate tenant rent submissions and address any compliance-related issues promptly.
Maintain updated knowledge of Section 8 regulations and compliance requirements.
Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular reports detailing property performance, rental income, maintenance activities, and any relevant updates for stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of lease agreements, tenant communications, and property maintenance records.
Requirements:

Proven experience in property management or a related field, preferably in a remote capacity.
Proficiency in using property management software like TenantCloud or similar platforms.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and government agencies.
Knowledge of local housing regulations, particularly those related to Section 8, is advantageous.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Location: Remote, work-from-home

Hours: Part-time, flexible hours (approximately 10 hours per week initially)

Compensation: $20-25 per hour, DOE
