Senior Backend Engineer / Python Data Developer

Project Overview We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to take over and complete an existing, proprietary backend application. The project features a modern, modular, and strongly-typed Python architecture divided into distinct service packages and data pipelines. Approximately 75% of the codebase is implemented. The immediate focus is auditing the existing architecture, completing missing modules, and conducting integration testing. Key Responsibilities Codebase Takeover: Audit existing, high-level Python code and complete remaining backend components. Data Integration: Validate existing data mapping modules and ensure stable entity resolving within the database pipelines. Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous end-to-end testing against external system integrations to ensure production readiness. Requirements Senior Python Expertise: Deep experience with modern, strongly-typed Python and clean architectural patterns. Data Pipelines: Proven track record building data-heavy backend systems or deterministic rule-based engines. Independent Execution: Ability to audit an advanced codebase and implement clean solutions with minimal oversight. Compliance Note Strict NDA Required: Access to the GitHub repository, project documentation, and codebase will only be granted after a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed.
