I'm seeking an expert website designer/developer to aid me in three tasks.

First, the situation:

I have two websites which function as the separate hubs for my separate writing businesses. One is for my ghostwriting business, the other, my author website for writing I publish under my own name. Both are hosted by hostgator and in the past year, both have fallen to hackers and are now unusable. In the past year, the nature of these two businesses has also adjusted slightly and the websites, in addition to being restored, need to be modified.

Tasks:

1) Restore the websites as they currently are so I can see them and determine what needs to be revised.

2) Consult with me on the most effective means for protecting the sites in the future and if there are other hosting/design options I should consider.

3) Perform the necessary changes as a result of that consultation.

The budget I've set is completely fictitious, as I have no idea what this project will entail until we decide on the changes that need to be made. I'd like you to propose a fixed-fee budget for the first and second tasks only. We'll develop a budget together for the third task. Looking forward to your serious proposals.
