Virtual marketing assistant for authority business

Job Overview:
I am looking for a highly motivated and experienced Virtual Assistant with a strong background marketing for an expert or authority professional. As a business consultant, I need someone who can help develop and execute a marketing strategy consisting of creating authority content, email marketing, identifying and doing outreach for partnership opportunities such as podcast features. The target audience are founders and executives of mid-sized consumer goods businesses, primarily in the personal care, beauty and food & beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement authority building strategies to attract and convert new clients
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns focused on client acquisition
- Create engaging and high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, and email newsletters, tailored to our target audience and designed to generate leads
- Conduct research on industry trends and topics to generate ideas for new content and lead generation tactics
- Manage content calendar and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with social media management, including posting updates, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments/messages to build relationships with potential clients
- Coordinate with team members and external collaborators on marketing projects
- Analyze campaign performance, lead generation efforts, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as managing email correspondence and scheduling meetings

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, content creation, or lead generation role
- Must be fluent or native English speaker
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives lead generation
- Familiarity with various marketing channels and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing, for lead generation purposes
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with marketing tools and software, such as social media management platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools
- Familiarity with Squarespace is a plus
- Interest or experience in brand strategy and retail development is preferred
