I've represented hundreds of clients in M&A transactions, especially SMB business acquisitions. While some lawyers are generalists my practice is focused exclusively on business acquisitions. Beyond that, I've been a principal, as a buyer or sell, in nearly 20 transactions across an array of industries, and so I've been in your shoes, whether you're the buyer or seller. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, finished in the top 7% of my law school class, where I graduated with honors and was selected as a Managing Editor of the Law Review, worked as a law clerk for a federal judge where I drafted opinions for the judge's review and briefed the judge on applicable law, and I was trained at Ballard Spahr and Morgan Lewis, two of the largest law firms in the United States. I also acquired, built and sold dozens of businesses, exposing me to corporate and securities law from a real world, entrepreneurial perspective. I did most of the contractual, M&A, tax planning, employment law and other legal work myself for my own companies because I love practicing law. I thoroughly enjoy working with business owners and their management teams to craft efficient and creative solutions to legal challenges.
