Freelancer - Translations, Recordings, Proofreading - DE/EN

Hello, I'm a German native based in London, and I work as a freelance translator (DE/EN). I'm currently working on projects for Kilo Health, and I support the team with translations for websites and apps. Occasionally, I also work on recording projects and I proofread texts for clients. In one of my previous roles I was working as a Digital Acceptance Testing Specialist for Marriott International and here are some of my main responsibilities: • working closely with corporate website development team to ensure the accuracy of our websites • testing new versions of Marriott websites and associated mobile applications • validating content and code releases so that new page content for the websites is completely accurate and error free • audit new page content, looking at individual web pages on a line-by-line basis ensuring that aspects such as font, spacing, text size, layout, and design are all correct I was born and raised in Germany, and I always had great interest in the German and English language. After my graduation I left the country and have since lived in the US, Republic of Ireland and England. Living abroad did not only help me improve my English, it also helped me to understand the different mentalities of each country and its impact on the language. Looking forward to working with you!
