Hello, My name is Katie, I'm a Web Designer & Developer living in Northern California. After studying Graphic Design in college, I spent the early part of my career creating graphics, wireframes, & mock-ups for a web company in southwestern Colorado. A few years later I relocated to the West Coast and began working as a jill-of-all-trades Marketing Designer for a company in the health & fitness industry. Creating graphics, writing web copy, designing & developing landing pages, email marketing, & managing e-commerce all fell under my domain. I also continued to work as a Freelancer, designing websites for boutique hotels around the US. All of this naturally led me into the world of Development, because knowing the technical side of things made it much easier for me to implement effective Marketing strategies. Plus, I could ensure my designs were represented exactly as envisioned on the front-end. Bottom line? I like finding beautiful, intuitive ways to increase conversions & bottom line numbers, whether that means an exciting redesign, a streamlined UX/UI, or new custom software solutions.
