For the past 15+ years I was privileged to lead a successful and progressive Global HR career in the Techno, Telco, Healthcare, and FMCG industries.
In my current role, based out of Berlin, I lead the Talent Acquisition function for Delivery Hero across all EU markets.
Prior to Delivery Hero, I was the Group Head of Talent Acquisition, Internal and Global Mobility, and Onboarding for e& (formerly known as Etisalat), a $15B technology and investment conglomerate. Additionally, I used to oversee the overall Talent Assessment practice across the end-to-end employee lifecycle; from entry level selection assessments to the executive level development, and succession planning ones. Moreover, I was responsible for the outsourcing function, owning the Outsourcing strategy, and managing the vendor relation, and overseeing the outsourcing service quality that covers 8500+ staff across all functions.
Before joining e&, I spent almost 2 years with J&J where I acted as the Head of Talent Acquisition for Africa, Middle East, and Turkey, before joining the global team as Talent Strategy Leader, when I had a chance to step-up the global reporting capabilities, shaped and activated the talent access and resourcing strategies, as well as expanded the TA diversity and equity efforts.
I also spent almost 10 years with PepsiCo where I assumed various HR leadership roles in Talent Acquisition and as HRBP, across several geographies including US, Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific, where I led transformation projects including business operating model evolution in MENA, talent process improvements in AMEA, designing and launching the Global Talent Acquisition competency model, leading the global talent acquisition technology agenda, and owning the global talent acquisition org design evolution into Global Business Services (GBS) structure from process design to change management and execution.
Currently, I'm completing my Executive Ph.D. in Management at ESCP school of business with a focus on employee experience and engagement. I hold a MSc. degree in Organizational & Business Psychology with a focus on Assessment and Leadership Development from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University.
