PhD Researcher, Dissertation Coach, and Academic Writer

Hello! I am a PhD-trained active academic researcher with industry experience. Additionally, I have an MBA in Finance, an MS in Mathematical Finance, and an MS in Business Administration. I content-edit, revise, and develop novel content for academic manuscripts, dissertations, and theses in various academic disciplines. In addition, I respond to reviewer comments for journal articles in the R&R publication stage. I am a peer-reviewer for top-tier academic journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and the Journal of Financial Economics. Finally, I help students navigate the admissions process to Ph.D., MS, MBA, JD, and Med School programs. PLEASE NOTE: I do not do fixed-rate projects because it is challenging to "guesstimate" the amount of time it takes to make the revisions necessary to elevate a manuscript to the level of quality required to be published or develop a dissertation to meet all committee members' criteria. Each piece of academic writing has unique needs, action plans, and steps to achieve our goals. Lastly, please book a 30-minute consultation if you'd like to discuss your project. The dissertation process is both an intellectual and emotional journey that is immensely stressful. I pride myself on providing academic and emotional support for Ph.D. students throughout the process. To date, I have worked on 61 dissertations. I am always available for my students, work meticulously to pre-emptively reduce committee comments after submission, and respond to committee feedback thoroughly with support from established top-tier literature. In addition, I have had the privilege of working with dozens of students to complete their dissertations and graduate successfully. Being called a "Doctor" is hard work; taking the journey with someone else makes the process much more bearable. I have twelve years of experience editing college essays and letters of intent for students applying to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs. I worked for an elite academic consultancy firm specializing in application materials for Ivy League university admissions, including personal statements and essays. Additionally, I have served as a graduate school's admissions committee member. I provide consulting services for entrepreneurs and small-business owners, such as strategic business planning (including writing plans for funding), quality management initiatives, and M&A due diligence. Before my time in the ivory tower of academia, I spent several years in a boutique M&A firm performing industry and company-specific research, developing pitch materials, and performing firm valuations.
