Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java/Clojure/Elixir)

I have been working as a professional software engineer since October 2015, I have worked on large scale distributed systems and big data analytics pipelines. Here are five things about me: 1. I have 7+ years of experience in Backend Engineering and Data Engineering. 2. I have led the architecture of a new ads system that is being built from the ground up. Currently I am building the payments flow for Stripe in India. 3. I like to work on the complex problems using distributed systems and to that end the last two books I have read are: Designing Data Intensive Applications by Martin Kleppman and High Performance Browser Networking by Ilya Grigorik. The next book I plan on reading is Database Internals by Alex Petrov. 4. I am currently a mentor at Springboard and MentorCruise. Prior to this, I mentored six people of whom one switched their career from a law background to Computer Science. In addition to teaching and mentoring, I like to write about code. 5. My goals for the next five years are mainly to become a strong principal contributor who can help scale and architect the systems businesses rely on.
