Java Backend Developer (Spring, Quarkus)

Hey Upwork! I’m a senior Java developer and a team lead with 5 years of commercial experience at Atlassian, Cisco, and Riyad Bank. I started my commercial career as an asset to enterprise in-house development teams, tech leading and executing the new updates of world-recognized products (Jira, Trello, Riyad Bank Mobile App, and others). A year ago I decided to switch towards a start-up environment, empowering prospective businesses by embodying enterprise best practices, guiding on a natural operations scale, and of course - direct execution (Back-end, DevOps). My commercial experience: 𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 | 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐢𝐫𝐚, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Development of Jira (including deserialization filters to prevent RCE over JMX). • On-going support for QuickStart templates for AWS CloudFormation and ARM templates for Microsoft Azure. • Maintenance and updates of all Atlassian DC products on the Azure Marketplace. 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡: • Java, Spring, AWS CloudFormation, Azure, Ansible, Docker, Bash scripts. 𝗥𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 | 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Completely rewrite the banking application, also directing the process as a team lead. • Creation of a core library used in other teams' microservices. • Foundation of microservices with the implementation of the necessary business logic • Creating a Database Schema for different Databases • Database migrations using Liquibase 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡: • Java 17 with Microservices, Quarkus, Hibernate, Liquibase, Oracle, Docker, Maven, OpenShift. Cisco | The world's largest provider of network equipment 𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Foundation of microservices with the implementation of the necessary business logic • Updating a Database Schema according to business needs • Database migrations from DynamoDB to PostgreSQL using Python script integrated to GitHub Actions • Handling and producing Kafka messages implementing business logic.
