The project involved developing a java client for Apache Stanbol project, developing a custom vocabulary for named entities and concepts using RDF and OWL ontology, NLP processing of submitted documents and index the extracted entities in Solr
Custom plugin was developed for Solr to extract named entities and concepts from indexed documents and index the linked entities in a separate Solr index.
An ontology and a custom entity-set was developed to be used for named entity recognition from documents.
