I am a Customer Service Specialist, I have worked as a Customer Service Representative for a Fortune 500 US-based company ~ Walmart. I initially worked as a Chat Representative and then later was promoted to a Voice Representative based on my performance.
A brief list of my job responsibilities at Walmart:
- Coordinate with delivery services like FedEx and American Express and many more to help locate shipments and give updates to Customers.
- In-charge of refunds, chargebacks, adjustments where applicable, also coordinating with American Banks for customers who were not tech-savvy and asked for our assistance.
- Make follow-up calls with client's who requested for a follow-up call and assist them accordingly.
- Help customers with any product information they requested, ranging from dimensions of furniture, bikes, to cosmetic items, electronic items, food items etc. We received trainings to increase our product knowledge.
- Also sending emails where applicable as well.
I am also now working as a Senior Customer Support Executive at a software firm where we publish books and I act as the main point of contact between the production and the customer and publish the books and resolve any issues and make changes in the books as per the client's request.
We publish books on:
- Amazon
- Barnes & Nobles
- Apple books and many more, 12 eCommerce websites to be precise.
The area where I specialize in is my natural god given talent of empathy and sympathy, the ability to feel how distressed your customers are no matter how small or insignificant their problem is helps me excel at my job and really help my customers no matter what their issue is. Apart from that working at a multi-national and Fortune 500 company like Walmart helped me be professional, be punctual, getting training of the highest level of Customer Service and gain a lot of exposure and experience.
