"Pin showed up to our first call well prepared with inspiration slides and a mood board that was super close to what we had in mind. In the end, we chose to work with another illustrator. The reason is mainly that he submitted a comprehensive sample of hand-drawn logo shapes, created from scratch with comments around his inspiration and how the shapes/illustrations link to our story and values. His sample illustrations were significantly ‘simpler’ than Pin's sample, and that was easier for us to visualize as the direction for a logo rather than for a poster or label."
