Another notable career achievement was in partnership with the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce to develop and launch AdvancingCoweta.com, a website established to support the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Equality of Opportunity and Economic Recovery and Resiliency Taskforce initiatives to address disparity in education, employment, entrepreneurship, and criminal justice. Volita was recently honored with a nomination for the 2021 Professional Who’s Who Publication by Strathmore Who’s Who Worldwide for exemplary service and achievements in Higher Education. She has also been nominated for the 50 under 50 distinction by the Continental Societies Inc., an international organization providing optimal opportunities for underserved children in the areas of health, education, employment, recreation, arts, and humanities.
