[FEES POLICY NOTE: the indicated 150.00 USD is the minimum hourly rate applied by the law firm to UpWork clients. Please note that we may propose a higher hourly rate based on the complexity of the Client's questions. We usually propose to our Clients fixed-price, per-milestone fees calculated on the basis of the specific hourly rate discussed with the Client. Please also note that we apply higher hourly rates for one-shot consultations whereas we propose lower fees for longstanding professional relationships.] Please find below our domains of specializations: INTERNATIONAL TAX We assist Business and Private Clients from all countries to: a) tackle and manage efficiently Operations of International Tax Optimisation and International Business Structuring b) manage and eliminate International Double Taxation through the application of Double Tax Agreements (DTAs) between countries c) manage and comply with EU VAT, Excise Duties and other Consumption Taxes d) manage the Tax aspects of Cross-Border payments of Royalties, Capital Gains and any other Business Profits arising from the License or Sale of Intellectual Property (IP) Assets e) manage the Taxes related to the Sale of Real Estate in any country (Real Estate Tax) f) understand and manage Domestic and International Gift and Inheritance Taxes g) analyse the Tax aspects of Wealth Management h) defend their interests in Tax Audit procedures and Tax Litigation BUSINESS CONTRACTS We negotiate, draft and review Business, IT and Data Contracts such as: Distribution, Agency, Franchising and Logistics Contracts Consulting Services Contracts Information Technology (IT) Contracts (e.g. Software Services Contracts, Internet Services Contracts) Data Protection, Processing and Data Management Agreements (e.g. GDPR Compliance, Cloud Services Contracts, Data Hosting/Storage Services Contracts) T&C and Privacy Policies for E-Commerce Businesses We also assist our Clients with other Business Agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). CORPORATE LAW We assist our Business Clients with the Formation, Merger and Acquisition of Companies in all the countries we operate in i.e. France, Italy, Spain, UK and the US. We draft and review any Corporate documents such as Articles of Association, Shareholders Agreements, Anti-Bribery Policies, etc.. .
