I have more than 10 years experience conducting analyses in R, SPSS, Excel, QGIS and LibreOficce. I am experienced with R programming, descriptive statistics, T-tests, nonparametric statistics (Kruskal-Wallis and Wilcoxon signed rank tests), hypothesis testing using bootstrap and permutations, correlation coefficients, Chi-squared test, regressions (linear, multiple, logistic), ANOVA, principal components analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, classification trees, interpolation, time series, and Shiny web applications. I also can create a wide range of figures for data visualization (e.g., maps, box plots, bar charts, heatmaps, histograms, biplots, cloudplots, bubble plots, circle plots countor plots, plots over maps, summary plots, lineplots, etc.), depending on what is required. I am comfortable working in Windows and Ubuntu Linux environments. My interests and previous experience include data analysis for ecology research, biodiversity, environmental pollution, physiology, genetics, analytical chemistry and experimental design. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology, an MSc in biological sciences and a PhD in oceanography.
