The Universal Render Pipeline (URP) is a prebuilt Scriptable Render Pipeline, made by Unity. URP provides artist-friendly workflows that let developer quickly and easily create optimized graphics across a range of platforms, from mobile to high-end consoles and PCs. In URP , there are new features that we can use effectively such as lens flare , reflection probe , decal system , Light Cookies and Global Settings. In terms of my URP experience , I have used it on MOBA game development. When I work on it , I have converted all materials for URP and I have used SRP lens flare before bake light maps. When I bake those , I have used baked lighting , not real time lighting. Because , mobile devices are weak than PC devices so we need to use optimized lighting system. As next , I have added post processing volume in project so this helps camera visual effect such as vignette , bloom , motion blur and etc. This means we can implement realistic environment on game development using URP.
