Hi! I'm Pedro, an Argentine-Italian professional based in Brazil since 2018. After seven years of working in the advertising and social media field, I decided to migrate to the technology area. I did a six-month bootcamp where I learned the basics of Front-end and Back-end development, using JavaScript. Following that experience, I decided to specialize in the QA area. I started doing a Testing Manual course and, since then, I've been acquiring knowledge in this field in a self-taught way. Right now, I'm looking for opportunities as a QA Analyst, while contributing to the open-source academy UPEX, a reference in the Spanish-speaking testing community. With them, I gained experience in a real work environment, using tools like Jira and Xray and processes like BDD, with Gherkin. Currently learning: automation with Cypress and JavaScript, BDD, Gherkin, SQL, and API Testing. Regarding soft skills, I consider myself an organized and meticulous person, and I like being part of projects that aim to deliver quality products and services. I'm interested in sports —football, especially—, politics, history, geography, and education. Also, I developed a project as a volunteer in a school in Salvador, Brazil, where I created a workshop for teenagers focused on social inclusion.
