Operations and Program Management | Policy and Procedure Development

I am a current administrator in higher education who has an earnest desire to improve the quality of life for others. I have sincere aspirations to be an agent of change and to aid in delivering services that can profoundly impact the financial, social and educational obtainment of others. I am well diversified in a multitude of skills needed to advance within today's competitive labor force including but not limited to: business consultation; entrepreneurship; fund account management; recruitment and marketing, project and program administration, data analysis, college readiness, public speaking, event coordinating, federal and state program administration and compliance, written and verbal communications, grant development, policy and procedure development, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. In serving in an administrative role in higher education it has been my responsibility to ensure as seamless a transition as possible into post-secondary studies. Furthermore, my role has been to ensure that all students have access to the resources needed to successfully complete their courses of study. In my professional experiences thus far, I have served in capacities in which the primary responsibilities have been to prepare and assist students in navigating the collegiate process. From aiding in securing student support services and financial aid to program management, recruitment and course advisement. I have served in varying roles in which I have provided services in most every aspect of the collegiate experience. I have acquired extensive experience in organizing nation-wide collegiate tours, planning and facilitating academic and financial aid related workshops, responding to audit and compliance reviews, research administration (post-award management), hiring and training, admissions application evaluation, academic assessment and advising, resume writing and career development, donor relations, endowment management, scholarship management, community outreach and social development. My professional experiences have led to advanced competencies in program management and operations, student support services, academic and financial advising, recruitment and enrollment management, consumer relations, data management and analysis and reporting, grants and contracts administration and college preparedness. I have also attained proficiencies in the usage of several systems including but not limited to Ellucian Banner, Tableau, DegreeWorks, PeopleSoft, Financial Information Management Systems (FAMIS), NCAA CAI, Workday, SAP Concur, and Qualtrics. During my career, I have acquired an acute sense of detail and my ability to communicate effectively and proficiently both in written and verbal forms, has served as a catalyst to rapidly excel my career. Through advancement, I have adopted a transformational approach to leadership in which I seek to lead by example but also with the intent to be inclusive and adaptive as situations arise and the environment and cultural norms evolve. I have developed the ability to conceptualize logically as well as analytically and I pride myself on creating structured environments within the workplace that lead to increased efficiency and productivity. I not only have experience working in higher education administration in roles directly impacting student outcomes, graduation and retention rates, but I also have experience with non-profit organizations and government funded programs helping to develop and implement strategic plans for meeting objectives that were in direct alignment with ensuring programmatic success at all levels.
