Hi! I’m Coach Katya and I help MEN and WOMEN be healthier through physical activities within the confort of their homes. I have been a personal trainer in the Philippines for 4 years now. My family has a gym for athletes here and it’s where I train the most. I have been an online coach for 1.5 years catering clients from all over the world. On my free time, I cook, edit videos for fun and I just sometimes stay at home to play with my dog. 🐶 I’m really excited to train with you soon! 💪🏼 More info: I specialise in creating periodised personal fitness programs for almost all types of clients. I currently manage a fitness center in the Philippines and I cater mostly athletes. In my ten months of internship, I was able to work with athletes (even return to play athletes), people with high blood pressure and CVD, diabetes, stroke patients, people with special needs, and general population. I am eager to work again with them here. I will be able to create programs according to my client’s needs and wants if realistic. I am passionate in helping people to have a healthy lifestyle through physical activity. Common programs: -Fat Loss -Muscle gain -Mobility and addressing muscle imbalances -sports specific strength and conditioning -general strength and conditioning -periodisation Advantages of physical activity: -stronger immune system -improvement in quality of work and life -healthier mind and body -better sleep -improved physique -lessens the risk of obesity, heart diseases, and diabetes My thesis in university was about the physiologic demands of athletes during competition. Currently I am writing with my dad a research paper that talks about the physical activity of people with special needs that will be presented internationally. I’ll be pursuing medical school next year to further into sports medicine.
