I have been a freelance transcriptionist for over four years. In that time, I have managed to transcribe thousands of audio and video hours for top transcription sites. I am a quick, accurate typist and I have an eye for detail. Even then, I am aware that transcribing requires more than just typing. Excellent grammar, correct spelling, perfect punctuation, proper paragraphing, appropriate speaker tags, well-researched jargon, and proofreading – all form a part of what makes a transcription perfect.
