Hi! I was born and raised in Peru and I currently live in Mexico City (CDMX). I have experience working with neutral Latin American Spanish as I've worked in one of the most important newspapers in my country. I was hired as a journalist, a proofreader and, later on, as an editor of different publications. My areas of expertise are: Arquitecture, Travel and Leisure, Fashion, Music, Theater, TV and Film. I am also a producer, so I am familiar with media & entertainment vocabulary in both languages. I've spoken English since I was three years old. I hold a CAE degree in English and I'm a fast written translator, especially for articles, plays and TV or film subtitles. Since I've started working on this platform, I've also been asked to transcribe videos or audio recordings and I've found that it's something I also enjoy doing. With the rise of AI, I guarantee all my work is done manually unless the client requests otherwise. I am specializing in localization for specific Latin American markets and translating materials that AI tools can't translate because they are flagged as sensitive or forbidden, even though they are legal activities.
