IT Assistant/Data Analyst

As an engineer of Information Technologies I started working in international organizations 5 years ago starting as an IT Assistant/Data Analyst in IOM. After two years I have been promoted and started working as an Operations Assistant where I still am today. I am of the firm conviction that I have the required competencies for freelance work. I am very motivated to bring the operational, administrative, and interpretation skills I have developed working with the mentioned organization. During my time with IOM BiH, as an Assistant I have engaged in all operational and programmatic aspects of project implementation, acting as counsellor and operations assistant, assisting with migrant data collection and analysis necessary for creation of work guidelines and project proposals. This post has seen me communicating with government interlocutors from BiH security sector in ensuring that legal stipulations on voluntary return are followed, while executing all operational travel arrangements through IOM system applications. In this role I also assisted with financial, legal, administrative, and technical aspects of AVRR for Bosnian nationals retuning to the country. Additionally, I have translated working materials and project documents, and assisted the returnees by live interpretation during their psychosocial support exercises. By working on mentioned multiple projects implemented in cooperation with many IOM missions and internally with organizations and institutions from BiH, I have established a network of governmental and non-governmental partners that support reintegration and protect the rights of beneficiaries in BiH, many of whom belong to vulnerable categories (medical cases, minors, victims of trafficking, minority populations). As such, I have in-depth knowledge of referral channels and ensuring synergies with other similar project initiatives. Consequently, I possess solid experience in ensuring sound case management system in compliance with UN standards of assistance within a fast paced and challenging emergency environment. As an Operational Assistant in AVRR activities covering flows from BiH, I was engaged in assistance and referrals of vulnerable categories on their return home through the Western Balkans Regional AVRR programme. Through this programme I coordinated operational aspects of AVRR within my area of responsibility: travel arrangements, purchase of tickets, airport escorts, transport from TRCs to government agencies, transport to PCR testing, etc.).
