Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering MS graduate from Rutgers University. I have acquired valuable skills in product development, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), additive manufacturing through my roles in the automotive EV and micro-mobility industries. I am a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) and a member of the SolidWorks Champion Program. I am passionate about designing and developing engineering products that improve the quality of people's lives and positively impact all generations. Some of my experiences and interests include: - Automotive Interior Trim - Vehicle and Aircraft Seating - Aerospace Structures - Additive Manufacturing and Plastics Design - Medical Device Design and Innovation My ambition to create sustainable products is demonstrated from my early-career efforts as summarized below: • As a Design Release Engineer at Rivian, I took complete ownership of the R1T pickup truck's rear seat assembly, releasing 10+ design improvements and corrective actions in 6 months, ensuring the delivery of top-quality seats • As a Product Launch Engineer at Rivian's manufacturing plant, I was a key contributor in supporting Rivian’s production goal of building 25k vehicles in 2022. I collaborated with manufacturing and process engineers to tackle build issues impacting interior trim components • I worked as an Interior Components Intern at Lucid Motors, designing, prototyping, and testing new concepts for the center console of Lucid Air and Gravity • As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at White Fox Scooters, I partnered with fellow interns to design new mechanical accessories for e-scooter docking stations across multiple locations in NJ, promoting eco-friendly transportation • My MS thesis focused on a novel additive manufacturing process to fabricate fiber-reinforced sandwich composite structures presenting 3D printing benefits for sustainable aircraft interiors Though I don't have prior medical device experience, I am enthusiastic about applying my transferable skills in product development and supplier interactions to develop meaningful patient products. I have learned fundamental engineering concepts from my academic coursework in CAD, FEA, Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing Processes, & Engineering Drawing. I have diligently used SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS, and MS Office for my projects on design, analysis, and hand calculations. I am actively seeking a new position to explore the next stage of my career.
