I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2010 from The University of Nottingham with a First-Class classification. Afterwards, I carried out my MSc degree in Structural Steel Design and Business Management at Imperial College London and graduated with a High-Merit classification in 2011.
I worked for the most prestigious engineering consultancy firms such as Dar Al-Handasah (Shair & Partners) as well as Arup across their multiple offices around the globe such as Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, U.A.E and the UK. Latest position I held was a Principal Structural Design Engineer at PRP UK Ltd. in Leicester. My structural engineering experience spans across multiple sectors such as residential, commercial, infrastructure, high-rise, retrofit and renovation as well as mixed developments.

The client's wanted to add a roof on top of his existing residential flat. The building comprised of multiple occupied residential flats, thus, in order to minimise construction noise and disturbance to residents, structural steel was the adopted material for the construction of the new roof. Due to its fast erection time, ability for off-site fabrication as well as light weight on existing foundations. I analysed, designed, detailed, built the revit model as well as produced the issue for construction structural as well as architectural drawings for the client (refer to attached files).
