I am software engineer with extensive experience with classical (full stack) web app development, currently interested in AI/ML, especially ML enabled forecasting. Also have passion for humanitarian projects. - experienced in opensource php MVC frameworks and WordPress - worked also with proprietary MVC and non MVC php frameworks with old code base, with python Django project, NodeJS express project and ghost CMS - capable of using react, classical javascript or jquery on the frontend - well versed in CSS and HTML - like to store data in PostgreSQL, MySQL for apps or pandas data frames for analysis - based on recent interest constructed ML forecasting of sports results using PyTorch - excellent communication and psychosocial skills since my original profession was social work/social therapy Me & Freelancing Freelancing is giving me the freedom to organize my time and space around me so I can be optimally productive without neglecting my other duties. This requires me to consciously maintain the necessary balance between “at work” and “at home” regimes. The main danger stemming from freelancing for me was the contamination of home environment by work. That is why I keep my work in my secluded physical home-office room. Me & the Client When working remotely with a client I use my rational communications and planning skills since one must manage to correctly infer client's expectation, make sure that the work goals are clearly specified, non-ambiguous and present clear realistic deadlines. Empathic communication in team also comes in handy as well as the willingness to reiterate the goals and pivot when needed.
