My name is Maria Morris, born in Brazil and gradueted in Business and Law. I have dual citizenship: Brazilian and New Zealander. I'm a translator and proofreader with over eight years of experience. I have worked previously for large multinacional companies, federal governmemt agencies and online magazines. I translate to and from Portuguese and English. I'm specially skilled in legal, oil and gas industry, business, subtitles and digital media. I have great ability to work with deadlines, attention to details, IT skills and the ability to build good relationships with clients. Besides translating, I am also an ecletic content writer and have been creating custom content including oil and gas press releases, business management articles and media posts. Writing has always been one of my favorite pastimes, and as a thoughtful and creative individual, I think this career is a good fit for me.
