I'm the poet laureate of my state*, so I'm pretty sure I can make your business or personal writing shine. (*It's a flyover state — but you're in luck, because my rates reflect it!) My day job is as a newspaper editor and general manager, and I'm also a widely published creative writer. Writing is a very practical skill for me, and the key is to pique the interests of an audience. I know how to do that, regardless of an audience's age, expertise, education, or background. A lot of my work has been in copyediting literary or commercial work, and I'm always excited to see the published fruits of my labors. Additionally, I enjoy copywriting, with clients as diverse as audiologists, fire departments, banks, universities, and more. My guess is that I can meet your needs and then some. A little creativity goes a long way with audiences, and my technical skills are strong. I think I'm particularly good at understanding a client's needs and voice so that I get it right the first time. I look forward to hearing from you!
