I have earned a PhD in engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. I am currently the CEO of GeoTeck. I have more than 25 years of industrial, teaching, and research experience in the domains of remote sensing, GNSS, GIS, and CAD. I have published many research papers, monographs, and textbooks on remote sensing, GIS, GNSS, and CAD. I have been instrumental in initiating a large number of courses on geoinformatics, GNSS, CAD, and related fields. I am a life member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing and Indian Society of Geomatics. I am the Fellow of Nikhil Bharat Shiksha Parishad. I have been awarded with 'Outstanding Scientist Award' by the VDGOOD Professional Association (in their International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine 2021). I am here to find opportunities for my company GeoTeck that is a complete Geoinformatics solution provider. We provide services in all folds of Geoinformatics. We are also the reseller of Geoinformatics software (Hexagon Geospatial, Agisoft Metashape), Trimble make survey instruments including GNSS receivers, high resolution satellite imageries (from Planet), drones (from ideaForge), and image processing workstations (from Dell). Geoinformatics training and research is another domain on offer. Currently, we have offices in Kolkata, India and Georgia, USA. Although GeoTeck is a startup company, we, the founder members of this company are not new in this domain. We have more than 25 years of experience in this field. We are working in this domain since 1990s even when the term 'Geoinformatics' was not coined; and in India, Remote Sensing/GIS/GNSS was in its infancy. Our vision is to become the most reliable geospatial service and solution provider in the Eastern India. We shall integrate all aspects of geospatial technology in a common denominator, so that our customers and other stakeholders don't get intimidated with the complexities of this discipline. Our vision is also to increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of geoinformatics applications and spatial data by creating a true geospatial information infrastructure.
