I am a writer and editor trained as a Scrum Master. As a writer, I have years of experience both as a contractor and as an employee. While my writing has been dominated by technical subjects, I've also assisted with marketing and training materials. I have some illustration techniques and skill but I am not an illustrator in real life.
As a technical writer, I am very good at taking direction and adapting to my clients' needs. I collaborate.

I have written the manuals for testing the gun placement on fighter jets. I've stood next to a knuckle of the CanadArm while on break from writing procedure manuals. I've worked for an aid agency documenting a quasi-relational database management system designed to provide a system that allowed libraries, of all sorts, to manage their collections. I've helped a manufacturing firm in their push towards 9001 certifications. I've delivered conference talks on single-sourcing, the great pie in the sky dream of the industry. I'm deep into DITA and XML.
I am creative, as a writer, and, as such, I can ensure that your point of view, your goals, drive the content I produce.
I also have some experience in process improvement using a variety of techniques and tools. I've saved my employers and clients money over the years.
